It is my profound purpose to extend my hand to those in need of grief healing medicine, drawing from my own journey of profound loss and transformation. Having weathered the anguish of losing my beloved Mother to cancer and witnessing the tragic loss of five family members to gang and gun violence, I recognized the urgent necessity for grief work in my community.
With a background in mental health therapy, I embarked on a journey to understand the intricate workings of grief and its multifaceted impact on individuals. Today, I stand at the convergence of my personal experiences and professional expertise, offering a sanctuary for healing that is grounded in love, certainty, and compassion.

Grief lives in the body as much as it lives in the heart. This session is a guided experience using gentle movement, breathwork, and somatic release to help you reconnect with your body and safely move the grief that has been stored within it.
Through intentional stretching, rhythmic movement, and conscious breathing, the body begins to soften and regulate, allowing emotions to surface and release in a way that feels supported—not overwhelming. From a body-based perspective, this process helps discharge stored stress and tension; from a more intuitive or spiritual perspective, it can feel like clearing what has been held not only personally, but more deeply within.
As you move, you may notice emotions, memories, or inner insights arise—your body’s natural way of communicating what has been held and what is ready to shift. You are always guided at your own pace, with an emphasis on safety, awareness, and choice.

Grief does not only live in the mind—it lives in the body, the heart, the breath, and the nervous system. When it is not given space to move, it can show up as tightness in the chest, heaviness in the womb, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of feeling “stuck.”
This session is designed to gently support the release and movement of grief through the body using the therapeutic vibrations of sound and the calming, restorative effects of Reiki energy. Whether you understand this work through a spiritual lens or a body-based healing approach, the intention is the same—to create a safe space for your body to process what it has been holding.
During your session, you will be guided into a restful, supported position while sound bowls are played around and over your body. The vibrations work with your nervous system—helping to slow the mind, relax the body, and create a sense of internal safety. A special feature of Medicine Healing is our Temezcali located in Desert Hot Springs, CA. A sacred space that honors ancient honoring healing practices.
A Temazcali is a form of sweat lodge but with a different concept. In this space we will gather to heal as well as have one on one healing sessions where the body and spirit can be worked on while inside.
This sweat is governed by the healing spirit of our Ancient Grandmothers & Grandfathers; using ancestral herbs for the healing wealth of the mind, body, spirit, & emotions.
